Mutants masterminds gadget guides pdf download

Right here! In this book are twenty-two individual guides, each looking at a particular type of gadget, putting together the effects and modifiers from the Hero's Handbook to create a catalog of dozens of ready-to-use items.

It includes:. What Power Profiles did for super-powers, Gadget Guides does for gear, making it a great character creation and in-play resource for both players and Gamemasters. What are you waiting for?

I have always wanted to try it. If this gets off the ground with a GM, I'm down. Also, what's the setting? The rule set itself is also generic enough to support many different settings, and my group and I have run a wide variety of games using it, including Earthdawn, Vampire-esque, and sci-fi in addition to standard comic book fare.

I am always up for a MnM game 2e or 3e is the same to me, though I think I like 2e rules a tad better. It seems to be online consensus that 2E was better, but I don't have access to those rules. As for people coming up with character concepts and all that jazz, we don't even have a DM yet. The only people who have shown any interest in the DMing side are Arknight and Maverick. Would either of you be willing to run a game? If so can you throw out a post saying so for sure and make a recruitment thread with some guidelines?

Clearly there are tons of people interested in playing. I might be able to get a game going, but want to see how the next week goes as far as timing and everything. I'll keep an eye on the thread, and if a game hasn't come together by then, I'll see about setting something up.

Even if it has, and there's enough other interest, I'll see if I can run it. I currently run a few games for different systems IRL and am in a PbP here, so my schedule may or may not cooperate.

Have a really nice Idea or a PC for this. It looks like there is a lot of interest, so think I can manage a reboot of my Emerald City campaign. Here's the synopsis of the concept:. It will be 3rd Edition, PL Newbies to 3E are welcome, and I will gladly assist in statting out a concept or even helping randomly generate a character using the charts in the GM Kit.

I actually already have a character drawn up. I had a bunch of old characters I played for 3E before and I found one who was really fun to play. Great campaign, I'm running that for my face-to-face group now. And we ended up with some pretty interesting characters, including 'Captain Freedom' - a Captain America for the MnM scene, a Rocketeer that can use magic, and a robot sent back from the future to find the magical Rocketeer.

I was considering either a magician sorta like Dr Strange, or playing a brick. A magician type was my original thought as well, buy maybe a gadget or battle suit type would be good. Have to look through the rules abit, see what jumps out. I would love to give it a whirl. I'll come up with something tonight and post. I may take you up on the offer for help if it proves difficult. Thanks for trying something new. What do you think of this character?

I want to know what to tweak with before I post his backstory. Limited, must keep using the Evil Eye every round on the same person or the affect is immediately overcome unless target is on third tier. Must have target looking him in the eyes to initiate. Also, maybe a damage aura spikes, sharp-edged faceted body but those tend to be stupidly expensive.

She moves like Spider-Man by projecting long chains with hooks on the end. This is not as kind to the scenery as Spider-Man's web. Arknight can give his take, but at first glance, it looks like you may need to pay closer attention to your power level limits. I think people are anxious to play, but I want to give everyone an opportunity to submit a concept who would like to.

I won't require a fully fleshed out character, but at least a short background and description of powers if don't have stats. And even if have stats, I do want to know who the person is behind the stats, so the background bit applies too, agreed?
